The oasis for outdoor fans on the Rax: Parkhotel Hirschwang

Dream location, dream kitchen, dream view: The Parkhotel Hirschwang not only has an excellent reputation as a seminar hotel. It is also the perfect starting point for wonderfully relaxing or sporty and challenging cycling tours through varied natural landscapes on the clear Schwarza.

Because the view of the Rax is so beautiful from here, one of the first summer villas in the Reichenau Valley was built in 1844 on the site of today's Parkhotel. Today, the surroundings are ideal for outdoor sports fans: about two kilometres to the north is the valley station of the Rax cable car; not far from the hotel to the east is the start of the Schwarzatal cycle route. And it is not far from Vienna either.

Everything ready for the bike

The Parkhotel Hirschwang has everything cyclists could need. You want to cover the Schwarzatal cycle route on an e-bike? You couldn't bring your own bike or forgot your helmet or bike lock at home? No problem, at the Parkhotel there are bikes with and without e-drive, bike helmets and bike locks to borrow. After biking, the bike can be parked in the garage and if the ride was particularly wild, cleaning and repair kits are available there. Sweaty cycling jerseys can be left at the reception - they will be dried and/or washed for you on request.

After cycling

After cycling is before cycling, but in between you also need to rest a bit. This is especially good in the stone pine sauna and steam bath or with a massage. In the vinyl lounge there are not only record players and records, but also flat-screen TVs and video games. If you prefer to play "for real", start a game of billiards or table football. You never get enough of sports? Treadmills, weight trainers and Pilates balls await you in the hotel's small fitness room. And if all that is not enough, you can relax, read and plan the next excursion in the hotel's large park.
