Station Ober Piesting

The small station Oberpiesting in the village of the same name is located in the Lower Austrian district Wiener Neustadt-Land. The island platform serves two train tracks and accommodates seating, which shortens any waiting time for train passengers with a view of the idyllic area. A number of parking spaces are provided for easy transfer to the train.

The stop Oberpiesting is located along the route of the Piestingtal Bahn.

Starhemberg Castle Ruins
The impressive walls of the Starhemberg castle ruins are only about 20 minutes walk from Oberpiesting station. Although it is forbidden to enter the castle ruins, the remains of the historical fortress nevertheless leave an incomparable impression.
Unicorn Cave
If you march on from the Starhemberg castle ruins, you will reach the Unicorn Cave in half an hour on foot. If desired, a guided tour can be arranged at the Zitherwirt. Then in a good quarter of an hour you can admire the interior of the easily accessible cave. Due to the easy path conditions, a visit is also well suited with small explorers.
