Station Hengsttal
Train stationDescription
The Hengsttal stop is located on the continuation line of the Schneebergbahn. In 2008 the original station Schneebergdörfel was renamed and owes its name to the "Hengst", the foothill of the Schneeberg. This year the station was rebuilt to mark the opening of the gallery of the artist Voka.
Route information
- The Hengsttal station can be reached in just 4 minutes from Puchberg am Schneeberg by the Salamander and Nostalgia trains of the Schneebergbahn. The station is on the continuation line of the Schneebergbahn, which is one of three rack railways in Austria.
Gallery & Studio VOKA
At the art stop Hengsttal the spontaneous realistic works of the Puchberg artist VOKA are presented. True to his origins, modern works of art meet the idyllic natural landscapes as a backdrop here.
