St. Egyden train station

St. Egyden station in the municipality of the same name in the district of Neunkirchen is modern and comfortable. The unstaffed through station serves trains on two main tracks, whose platforms can be reached safely via an underpass. Bright, all-glass waiting berths are provided on site, as is a ticket vending machine for ticket sales.
The spacious Park & Ride facility can accommodate over 170 vehicles, and the Bike & Ride station can accommodate up to 20 bicycles.
Route information
- Regional trains to Payerbach-Reichenau, Vienna Floridsdorf and Wiener Neustadt connect here.
- Trains to Mürzzuschlag and Bernhardsthal are also served.
- Bus connections are provided by the bus stop at the station.
- The St. Egyden stop is connected to the Südbahn line. Originally the village was also connected to the local railway Willendorf-Neunkirchen, but the passenger traffic of this branch line was already stopped in 1933. The discontinuation of the entire line took place in 1942.
