Schlöglmühl train station

Schlöglmühl station is located on the Semmering Railway line, which was built as a section of Europe's first high-mountain railway along the Southern Railway. Two railway tracks can be safely reached here via an underpass, and covered waiting facilities have been installed on both platforms.
Additional comfort is provided by the 15 parking spaces for cars and mopeds and the 16 parking spaces for bicycles in the adjoining Park & Ride facility. Loudspeaker announcements and timetable notices inform train passengers about the current service, and a ticket vending machine has also been placed in the underpass for ticket purchases.

- Two minutes walk away is a bus stop with connections to Gloggnitz.
History
As the oldest high mountain railway in Europe, the Semmering Railway paints a tranquil picture through the idyllic landscapes of Lower Austria. More than 100 arched bridges, 16 viaducts and 14 tunnels offer rail travellers a vivid panorama on the line, which was opened in 1854 and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
