Rothengrub train station

The Rothengrub stop is located along the main line of the Schneebergbahn and is single-tracked. On the platform is a glazed waiting berth, which protects against wind and weather. The station is located in the municipality of Willendorf in the Lower Austrian district of Neunkirchen.

- A bus stop can be reached within a few minutes walk from the station.
Johannesbachklamm
Not far from Rothengrub station, about a 30-minute walk away, is the western entrance to the Johannesbachklamm gorge. Here you can discover the fascinating landscape, marked by gorges, over wide paths and bridges for about 1 kilometre. The Gerhartl Johannesbachklamm refuge offers a cosy opportunity for a final stop.
As early as 1902, nature lovers made the gorge accessible to visitors by means of secured paths.
