Ortmann station

Ortmann station in the Lower Austrian district of Wiener Neustadt-Land is located in a district of the market town of Piesting in the beautiful Piestingtal valley. With the typical waiting huts on both platforms, train passengers are offered protection from wind and weather. Sufficient parking spaces for cars and mopeds, as well as some parking spaces for bicycles, are also available at the station, making it easy to get on and off the train.

- Trains to the main station in Wiener Neustadt are served.
- Trains to Gutenstein also stop here.
- There is a bus stop directly at the station with connecting buses to Pernitz and Puchberg am Schneeberg.
High Mandling
The Hohe Mandling is an unmistakable feature of the northern Piestingtal valley. A hike of the steep mountain peak is possible in one hour on foot from Ortmann train station. The densely wooded area can also be explored on one of the numerous circular hikes, such as the one from Pernitz to Reichental over the 967 metres of the Hohe Mandling, always accompanied by the legendary legend of the ghost wolf.
