Modern and flooded with light, the Tullnerbach Pressbaum station in the village of Tullnerbach-Lawies welcomes its passengers to the Wiental. The glazed transition bridge to the reception building and the platforms can be reached barrier-free throughout by lifts, thus ensuring a high level of safety. Tickets can be purchased conveniently at the two ticket vending machines set up, and a publicly accessible WC facility also offers additional convenience at the station.
Almost 230 parking spaces for cars and mopeds are available at the connected Park & Ride facility. For cyclists who wish to transfer to the train, nearly 95 parking spaces are offered at the Bike & Ride station.
Route information
- Tullnerbach-Pressbaum station is located along the Westbahn line from Linz to Vienna.
- Express trains of the S50 to Neulengbach as well as to the Westbahnhof to Vienna are served every half hour.
- Connecting buses to Vienna Liesing, Pfalzau and Tullnerbach can be reached through the bus stop located at the station.
Biosphere Park Vienna Woods
A 20-minute walk from the Tullnerbach-Pressbaum train station leads to the Wienerwald Biosphere Park. On an area of 105,000 hectares are habitats for species of flora and fauna worthy of protection. The diversity of the landscape opens up a special recreational area for man and nature, which has been awarded by UNESCO. Its location at the gates of Vienna makes the Wienerwald Biosphere Reserve a unique facility.
