Description
The holdings of the city archive include numerous documents that date back to the Babenberg period, purchase contracts, city and council books since the Middle Ages, plans from the 16th century, a collection of photographs and various estates and a newspaper and historical registration office archive.
The archive holdings in the city archive of Wr. Neustadt are accessible to the public after the 30-year legal protection period. Viewing is agreed with the archive staff.
The study library contains around 21,000 subject-specific works on German studies, history and art history. They are available for use by the users of the archive.
Viewing is only possible for individual purposes.
