Pitten Castle and Mountain Church
Pitten Castle on the idyllic Schlossberg is only a quarter-hour walk from the Brunn an der Pitten bus stop. The baroque mountain church located there offers a very special sight, not least because of the wooded backdrop. Dedicated to St. George, it dates from the 18th century and enjoys a truly charming view over the Hohe Wand, the Schneeberg and all the way to the Semmering and the Hochwechsel.
Tip: Nearby is a rare rock church with frescoes from the 13th century - definitely plan a side trip.
